Is The Bible Without Error in Science and History?

The Bible provides a detailed and exact account of how the world, humans and animals were created by the only true God, Jehovah.

Many critics of the Bible claim that the Bible has many errors or that the Bible contradicts itself. Time and again, however, Biblical archaeology, students of history and even non-Christian historical authors have verified names, places and stories found in the Bible.

It is also totally verifiable that Jesus did in fact exist, that he was crucified and that He rose from the dead. Historic writers such as Josephus documented information about Jesus and His disciples, and four of the gospels give accounts of people who saw Jesus alive after he had died on the cross, was entombed and then rose from the dead.

Any study of Bible prophecies show the incredible accuracy with which prophets predicted future events.

Another amazing example of how the Bible so accurately foretells future events is evident in the book of Revelation. The end-time events described in Revelation provide startling detail about how this age will end and how the future of the earth and humanity will unfold. Increasingly we see that much of what is foretold in Revelation is no longer incredible. World events seem to verify the future trends prophetically stated in the Bible.

Because so many Biblical prophecies have already accurately been fulfilled throughout history, there is very little reason to doubt that the rest will also be fulfilled.

If God truly is God, and He is omniscient (all-knowing), then He cannot make mistakes and knows all things. He knows the future and has provided enough revelation about Himself so that we can believe in Him.

Jesus said “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.” (Matthew 24:35). God’s word can never pass away because God Himself is eternal.
